Description

In the workshop we will focus on two loop methods:

First: live played or sung repetitions and second: the possibilities of loop devices and loop software. A special focus is how to escape the repetition in modifying the repeating patterns imperceptible.

In the first section we will experiment with patterns and get to know polyrhythms and phasing. Here we will sing and play a lot and repeat often. Non-singers are welcome to bring musical instruments.

In the second section we get to know technical possibilities. How do you feed a Looppedal, how to layer with room depth and how to break out of strict repetition?

The participants are welcome to bring questions, patterns, plays, texts. There will be time to include them.
