Description

The workshop led by voice performer and experimenter Annabelle Plum is open to children between 8 and 13 years of age. During this two hour long workshop, we will explore the space of Kampa Park and focus on listening to the sounds that surround us. We will improvise, release, and open our voice. There is plenty of silence and sitting in chairs ahead of us – let’s get things moving! We will learn different ways to use our voice. Together we will create a “library” of sounds, based on listening to the noises that surround us and then we will create a short dubbing sequence to a film. This creative workshop offers children a safe space to play, explore, and discover their own voice and the strength that’s hidden within it.
